While Aleali May's Air Jordan 6 is limited to friends and family, her Air Jordan 1 will be available globally.
May drew inspiration from three sources: the "Shadow" Air Jordan 1 serves as the base, corduroy paneling represents her father's swap meet-purchased house shoes and the satin panels, chenille Swooshes and orange logo hits were pulled from the LA Kings Starter jacket. The collaboration serves as a tribute to her hometown city of Los Angeles.
The "Aleali May" Jordan 1 will release in men's and youth sizes on Saturday, Oct. 28 at nike.com and select Jordan retailers.
