Jordan Brand's global expansion of its World of Flight stores continues this week with the introduction of its new Mexico City location.
Unlike the current Jordan World of Flight stores, Michael Jordan's namesake brand is joined by its parent company, Nike, to provide customers with a first-of-its-kind shopping experience. This new three-floor space located in Mexico's Centro Histórico neighborhood will not only stock the latest products from the brands, but also serve as a destination for Nike Members to experience exclusive events, with some featuring Nike and Jordan Brand athletes, collaborators, and more. Consumers will also be able to experience both the Jordan Workshop and Nike By You stations, allowing shoppers to customize apparel and footwear.
"Nike and Jordan World of Flight Mexico City enables us to serve and celebrate athletes across Latin America and their passion for sport and culture like never before," says Doug Bowles, vice president and general manager of Nike Latin America. "Our exclusive products and member-only events from both brands are an invitation for the Latino community to join the Nike family."
Jordan Brand currently has several World of Flight stores across the globe, including in Beijing, Milan, and Tokyo, with a new Philadelphia location expected to open soon.
The new Nike and Jordan Brand World of Flight store in Mexico will open its doors on July 11 and is located at Gante 4, Centro Histórico de la Ciudad de México Center.
