Pharrell Williams has been tapped to co-host an upcoming pre-Olympics event at Foundation Louis Vuitton.
The event, per an initial announcement from Vogue, is formally billed as the Prelude to the Olympics and will take place at the art museum space in Paris on July 25. The following day, of course, Opening Ceremony proceedings will kick off for the 2024 Summer Olympics. Joining Pharrell are LVMH CEO Bernard Arnault, Comcast CEO Brian Roberts, and Vogue editor-in-chief Anna Wintour.
Other confirmed co-hosts include Oscar-winning actress Charlize Theron, tennis legend Serena Williams, two-time Grammy winner Rosalía, and Golden Globe-nominated Lupin star Omar Sy.
To further commemorate the special event, billed in press notes as "an exclusive gathering" boasting a Pharrell-curated collection of art installations, Comcast NBCUniversal is making a donation in support of the IOC Refugee Olympic Team.
The announcement follows Louis Vuitton's Timberland drop date reveal, as well as the appointment of Pharrell's longtime friend and frequent collaborator, Pusha T, as the French label's newest House Ambassador.
