UPDATED 6/13, 2:21 p.m. ET: Enchanting's manager, Jimmy Jackson, has released a statement on the artist's death at just 26 years old.
"It is with great sadness and pain to accept the reality of the tragic passing of our Queen, Enchanting," Jackson’s statement reads, per a report from XXL. “Channing came into our life in 2023 when we took over her management. It was clear as day Chant was a star. If you really knew Chant, you know her personality was larger than life, she was a whole vibe and owned every room she walked in."
Jackson called Enchanting "one of the most loyal and beautiful souls" he’d ever encountered, adding that her legacy "will live on forever.'
According to Jackson, Enchanting was days away from announcing her signing to his label after her exit from New 1017 last year.
Enchanting's family also released another statement writing that the cause of death has not been confirmed. "We also appreciate everyone's respect of our family's privacy as we continue to navigate through this difficult loss," they wrote.
