Kodak Black made it loud and clear that he doesn't want to be asked questions about his past drug use, and Adam22 found that out at the expense of his wife's OnlyFans career.
On Monday, Yak pulled up to the No Jumper podcast for a conversation that got tense after Adam mentioned the rapper's drug use and an incident that occurred because of it. Adam asked Kodak about behavior displayed on his Drink Champs interview last year, during which he seemed to be under the influence, and Kodak made sure to let Adam know he didn't want to talk about that incident.
"That shit was so long ago...I can't even walk you back to that shit, you ask me something about that shit or something. ... I ain't came up here for you to like, be playing detective," the 27-year-old said.
Adam replied that he was only trying to get Kodak to "set the record straight," but the rapper wasn't hearing it and brought up Adam's wife, Lena the Plug, who is an adult actress and OnlyFans creator. Lena made headlines at the top of the year for releasing a video where she had sex with fellow adult actor Jason Luv.
"I ain't trying to exploit your bullshit," Kodak said before mentioning Lena. "I ain't even came up here talking about your wife or none of that shit, plus I don't know her, and I don't know you, family."
Adam tried to redirect the tense energy by pointing out a mold of his wife's vagina on display. One of Kodak's friends added to the comedic flair by asking him if Adam and his wife "be kissing," which drew laughs all around.
Kodak's sobriety journey has been in the spotlight over the last few weeks. Earlier this month, the Florida native said he would no longer perform "Super Gremlin," in which he rapped about taking fake Percocets, in order to live up to his clean lifestyle and inspire others to follow suit.
"I'm about to stop performing 'Super Gremlin,' period," he said during a livestream. "I hate that li'l shit. I'm sober for the most part. ā¦ And I say this, like, around my people [and] them so they knowā¦that [it's] serious. I could talk about it now. You feel me? For the most part bro, I be sober, brother."
He continued, "Like Batman, I couldn't have waited till like, Saturday [to take drugs]. Now, I can wait a few daysā¦I'm proud of myself. I ain't saying I couldn't have; it was just like a n***a was scared to be sober."
