Mario Hess, aka Big Glo, who collaborated as Blood Money with his cousin Chief Keef on a number of tracks, was reportedly shot and killed in West Englewood last night.
Hess, who was featured on “Fuck Rehab,” was reportedly signed by Interscope Records two weeks ago, according to what his manager and cousin Renaldo Reuben Hess told the Chicago Sun-Times.
“This was his dream and he finally got his foot in the door,” Renaldo Hess told the Sun-Times. “But that’s how it goes in Chicago. He really wanted to get off the streets.”
According to police, Hess, 30, was shot and killed after 9:30 p.m. in the 5600 block of South Elizabeth Street. The Chicago Tribune reports he was shot "as many as 10 times."
